I started researching crisis management after experiencing my own due to a traumatic shooting while working as a police officer. I struggled with PTSD, didn’t know what was going on, and my organization wasn’t able to help. My experience isn’t unique, so my mission is to help others avoid what I had to go through so they can better serve their teams, the public, their families, and themselves.
I’ve personally applied each of the concepts I talk about during my time as a Chief of Police. That means I know what works (and what doesn’t) firsthand.
